"... This is big exciting music. It punched me in the face from the opening chord and didn’t let up for its duration.
Without a dull moment on it, this is one of the great rock records of the year. (Ben Michael, Rhythms Dec 2008)

Project Transmit is a finely-tuned and relentless tempest. Savage, driving rhythms snake their way through every song, simultaneously a defining focus and an element of total instrumental synergy.
These tracks are surprising. They begin and end in the uncharted swamps of unresolved mayhem, prayer, Shellac, the Cure, pop, hardcore, neo-, post-, and proto-what. This album is a dream ceremoniously torn from the bed of a man who has slept beside and transgressed every musical notion worth a thought. Progressive textures, jangling guitars, an insurmountable maelstrom of drumming and even a post-rocking apocalyptic Dylan cover: It’s all there.

This album keeps you on your toes, leaves your nerves on edge, never able to settle despite its strongly minimalistic rhythmic nature.
...He has set out to achieve a "sound and momentum" and has achieved that and more. Disturbingly excellent. (By Chris Peken. -Alternative Media Group)

Pompeii veröffentlichten kürzlich ihr neues Album "Nothing Happens For A Reason" auf Eyeball Records (Tiger Lou, An Albatross, Wolftron).

on their self-titled album, the terrordactyls' quirky, lighthearted yet decidedly melancholic pop/anti-folk tunes are augmented by toy pianos, kazoos, and the voice of kimya dawson (the moldy peaches, juno). despite all these charming trappings, though, nothing really serves to take the edge off the terrordactyls' gutsy interpretation of the sad sweetness (or sweet sadness) of living.
