Prometheus Project formed in late-2006 with the objective of seeing what could be done when you put a violin alongside a six-string bass and throw some electric drums into the fray. The answer seems to be that you can do anything so long as you can conceptualise it in the first place. Part tight-structuring, part crazy improvisation, Prometheus Project is the missing link between Folk, Jazz and anything you can stick the word Post- infront of. Enjoy!

Just to let you know that we've recently changed our booking proceedures so that dates and booking info can be obtained by emailing a blank enquiry to:

Since we're booking up now for the summer and September I wanted everyone who's taken the time to seek us out on Myspace to have a chance to get a gig booked.
Its the Bank Holiday weekend, unlike many a normal sucky sunday.
Atomic Garden (from Clemand Ferrand en la France) are wicked and they're on tour promoting their album 'Little Stories About Potential Events'. Its produced by Chris Sheldon and Alan Douches (who've done Alkaline Trio, Therapy, Converge, Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters among others...) and they're certainly worthy of seeing in a nice little place in Sheffield. They have a *shudders* myspace (imagine that...)
Kimmy Yeah play again (75% of actionier playing 0% of actionier songs - all new weird stuff). Songs by em at:
A Bear are a marvellous p-h/c band from Manchester. They're just releasing an EP called 'Some Of Our Friends are Animals'. Their jib is pleasingly cutting, and you can read stuff by em from their brilliantly non-myspace page at:
"At last a follow up to Janette Mason's sparkling debut as leader. Alien Left Hand ....was well worth the wait…” Production **** Performance**** -- BBC Music Magazine
“…an album fizzing with fresh ideas and delights, an exhilarating musical journey .. with brilliantly original writing and inspired playing…” -- Helen Mayhew
"Every track from the rhythmic ‘NY Cab Ride’ and restless ‘4 Wheel Drive’ to the brooding ‘Mae’s Song’ has a terrific hook but it’s the way Mason switches tempo and moods that makes ALH great fun. " -- Diva Magazine
Hey, thanks for the add! :] If you're looking for good quality layouts, banners, or graphics for anything, let us know! Also tell anyone you know that might be looking as well! Take care<3
