About me:
..Perfect Strangers of Finland PSOF ry on perustettu Helsingissä vuonna 1998.
PSOF on virallinen Deep Purple -yhdistys Suomessa. Tarkoituksemme on edistää ja kehittää Deep Purple -yhtyeen musiikin harrastusta Suomessa. Deep Purplen ohella annamme tilaa myös muille laajaan DP-sukupuuhun kuuluville bändeille ja projekteille: Rainbow, Blackmore’s Night, Ian Gillan Band, Dio, Glenn Hughes, HTP, Whitesnake ym.
Tällä hetkellä jäseniä on n. 200 ja määrä kasvaa koko ajan. PSOF:iin voivat liittyä jäseniksi kaikki aihepiiristä kiinnostuneet. Tervetuloa tutustumaan nettisivuihimme: www.psof.fi
Perfect Strangers of Finland PSOF ry was established 1998 in Helsinki.
PSOF is the official Deep Purple appreciation society in Finland. Our aim is to make the music of Deep Purple more known in our country.
At the moment we have about 200 members, from 20 to 50 years old, and the number is growing.
We arrange meetings with the DP fanatics and everyone else interested in the many related artists and bands in the big DP family tree. These include Blackmore’s Night, Dio, Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Joe Lynn Turner, Rainbow, Whitesnake and so on. All in all, Deep Purple is our main source of entertainment and joy.
We keep touch through our mailing list, message board and myspace. Everyone is very welcome to visit our web site: www.psof.fi

Hi PSOF, Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!
