About me:

Founded in 1972, the Portland Women's Crisis Line was the first crisis line of its kind in the state of Oregon, and one of the first five in the United States. PWCL provides services to the Portland Area (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas & Clark Counties) via the toll-free, 24 hour crisis line number. Services are provided to female, male and trans survivors of domestic and sexual violence, non-offending family and friends, community members, sex industry workers, all people regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, education levels, class, status or able-bodiness.

PWCL provides immediate access to:
crisis intervention
advocacy and support
safety planning
in-person response for survivors of sexual violence
information and referral
emergency housing resources for domestic violence survivors
agency and community support groups
