  • Bio

Formed in 2003 in Richmond, VA, Adam Perry on a stand- up drum kit and Jason Hodges originally on bass/ vocals through bass pickup, the Yes Sirs would do an occasional improv set whenever their bands PCP Roadblock and Kojak couldn’t play a show. In 2003 Jason moved to doing percussive sounds on his keyboard and they wrote some songs, recorded a few songs on a borrowed 4-track, and played a few more shows. In 2004 they became a bit more active and recorded their 4 strongest songs in a recording studio and some stoned out spacejams on 4 track and released the "2 Man Rhythm Disaster" CDR. Adam then moved to San Francisco. They continued collaborating through the U.S. mail. In 2005 Adam paid a visit to Richmond and they went back in the studio for some improv material that Jason later turned into songs on his 4 track and they played a show. In 2006 they completed the songs they were doing through the mail and did a 3 day "tour" of Richmond, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. In late 2006 they released the "Dos Locos" LP that’s available through CNP Records. A show or two or three will occur sometime in 2008 as well as continue with their mail collaborations.........

    The Apprentice
presents this work wordless, naive, and among a silent choir
(a collected choir of people who are energetically and physically present but
sonically null.) I am learning to be as an apprentice.

    Teaadora

As an Apprentice I am learning to be an artist, a woman, a succinct and fluent French
speaker, it is the softest sounding language, the language of love, and
    of the artists romantic tradition.

Please give me some reponse, ideas, love, questions, critique,
and a chance regarding my message to the world.

    Love and Light,
