Sounds Like
Most say that I sound like Patti Smith, Lou Reed and PJ Harvey; some say Siouxsie Sioux, Chan Marshall (Cat Power), Neko Case, His Name is Alive, Elliot Smith.
Randi Russo mixes emotionally drenched indie-rock with psychedelic, punk, art-rock, garage, and folk influences. Her velvety singing style is as equally raw and beautiful as her guitar playing is edgy and unusual. Randi's a southpaw who plays her guitar upside-down and backwards which creates interesting chords and sounds. Cross-pollinate the voices of Patti Smith, Cat Power, and Siouxsie Sioux, with music and songwriting that's reminiscent of the Velvet Underground and Sonic Youth and you'll get a seedling of Randi's music, which is enchantingly dark, driving, hypnotic and deep.

thanks, randi - I have to credit Paul Hellion for writing/singing Bread. I'm a session drummer and this MySpace thing won't let me credit each artist for the different tracks...luckily no one's miffed.
Greetings. I just wanted to thank you for your continued support and invite you to have a first listen on myspace to the tracks off the new EP "Monster & Minstrel" due out later this month. Bright stars to you! Ahmond
