Biography
Random Abiladeze ("Abilities") is a dynamic and celebrated hip-hop artist, spoken word poet and community educator who hails from Sacramento, CA. A two time champion of Northern California's "Got Spit?" competition, Random's work has been honored by the Hip Hop Congress, a grassroots international cultural arts organization, as well as numerous schools, community venues and universities. His second CD, "Brutally Honest" (featuring tracks with world renowned beatboxing champion, Butterscotch) was described by 209Vibe Magazine as "Original, creative, and most importantly, intelligent".
In October 2007 Random was named "Poet of the Month" by Youth Speaks, the nation's leading nonprofit presenter of Spoken Word performance, education, and youth development programs. In 2009, he won Stanford University's prestigious "Battle of The Bay Poetry Slam" for the second consecutive year in a row and was the 2008 Champion of Sacramento State University's "Word of Conscious Action" Poetry Slam.
A sought after performer and speaker, Random has won several rap competitions including ones broadcast on 103.5 (KBMB) & 102.5 (KSFM). He has shared stages with: Nas, Immortal Technique, Tech N9Ne, Zion-I, Living Legends, Chino XL, Pigeon John, San Quinn, Little Brother, Diabolic, Mistah F.A.B., Planet Asia, Taalam Acey, Butterscotch, Z-Man, Amir Sulaiman, and Black Sheep.

Random Abiladeze has his eyes set on a bright future, with the intent to inspire and inform people across the world. In addition to developing his art, Random continues his youth outreach and education projects, speaking with and inspiring teens at youth summits and conferences throughout the country.

deffinetly nick and i were just talking about how people forget, up untill the late to mid 90s mainstream RAP WAS GOOD RAP, pharcyde, souls, del, tupac , biggie wu tang and all that good shit that everyone underground or radio seems to mimic was on big lables . hello random abilideze, you were at my school a few weeks ago. it was an honor to be given your cd by yourself. also i never buy albums from artists nowadays. but your music sparked my interest.
i bum harder over missing all the dope underground shows than i do not being able to purchase alcohol lol.
ive missed you a dozen times, the cuf, who cares, qwel, cats from the living legends etc. just cuz im under 21. but whatever, i guess theres always gonna be shows.
