I grew up listening to 80s rock and metal, from Van Halen and Scorpions to Iron Maiden and Metalllica (when they were cool). In 1993 I fell into writing lead guitar (and lots of it) over my riff-heavy songs, so I became an instrumental guitarist, though I never listened to them much.
I picked up endorsements with Peavey, Alvarez Guitars, and Morley Pedals since putting out my first album, THE FIREBARD, and am gigging and recording the next album now.
I love to hear from people so drop me a line or join my friend list and post a comment!
RANDY ELLEFSON: Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid
Another round of over the top, high energy riffs and melodies!
RANDY ELLEFSON: The Firebard
Crunching riffs and melodic lead guitar like they used to do, with big solos and enough energy to power your day, this is hard rock and metal like you probably haven't heard in a long time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pretty enjoyable! Some nice progressions and variation of atmospheres and moods, mixed with the more rocking-out sections. The overall composition seems pretty interesting! I can't think of many bands who sound similar...Paul Groundwell/PEACEVILLE RECORDS (U. K)
Breaking news! Odin’s Court has just signed to ProgRock Records!
You can preorder the new CD Deathanity as of today.
Deathanity is the latest effort from Odin’s Court, a Maryland, USA band. Deathanity is an ambitious concept album dealing with the effects mankind’s actions are having on the planet. Alternate views are offered through the use of instrumentation, lyrics, sound effects, and various vocal clips. Ambience, dynamics, and soul are combined with complexity, groove, and energy in a song oriented structure, to create a unique, surreal landscape. Each song, dealing with a different theme, is accompanied by a newly created word and definition in the album art. Special guest vocalists include Tom Englund (Evergrey) and Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica).
