  • Bio

I've been a metal fan all my life and with the fall of rock from grace in the 1990s, I became an instrumental guitarist, recording things for myself and finally releasing 2 hard rock albums, then 1 acoustic one and a classical guitar one. Now I've added vocals for the 5th album, due out in 2011. I picked up endorsements with Peavey, Alvarez Guitars, and Morley Pedals, and play my homemade guitars. Bio:

I grew up listening to 80s rock and metal, from Van Halen and Scorpions to Iron Maiden and Metalllica (when they were cool). In 1993 I fell into writing lead guitar (and lots of it) over my riff-heavy songs, so I became an instrumental guitarist, though I never listened to them much.

I picked up endorsements with Peavey, Alvarez Guitars, and Morley Pedals since putting out my first album, THE FIREBARD, and am gigging and recording the next album now.

I love to hear from people so drop me a line or join my friend list and post a comment!

Another round of over the top, high energy riffs and melodies!

album coverRANDY ELLEFSON: The Firebard

Crunching riffs and melodic lead guitar like they used to do, with big solos and enough energy to power your day, this is hard rock and metal like you probably haven't heard in a long time.
