My boat, the Grin(ship eatin grin), she's my one true love. I spend as much time as I can with her @ Lake Wylie. I'm a sucker for a tiki bar and love outdoor concerts. Mountain biking, horseback riding...they bite real hard.
Music
Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews, Jane's Addiction, Lincoln Park, Snoop, U2, and yes, shamefully...I still dig hair bands...Motley Crue behind the music is real genius.
Movies
I like movies that are written well...American Beauty, Goodwill Hunting, Waiting For Guffman, Spinaltap,Beautiful Mind, Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, Tombstone..."Why Johnny Tylor...Maddcap! Where you goin' with that shotgun, Johnny?" I like Horror movies but hate the obvious. I prefer the old school Amityville to the remake...special effect "robzombies" don't scare me...cracked open closet doors to this day still give me the creeps! My favorite scene in a movie: Quinn's rant on the sinking of the U.S.S. Indianapolis in JAWS. "Ya know Mr. Hooper, the thing about a shark's eyes...they're lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a dolls eyes. When they're commin' at ya...it seems like their not even livin'. And when they bite into ya those eyes roll over white...and...ya hear that high pitch screamin'. I'll never put on a life preserver again."
Television
The most recent fall of the Americas! Other than ESPN, Seinfeld, Boston Legal, and Two and a Half Men...most of tv is unreality trash! However...HBO has turned me into an Entourage junkie. The Office may be the best show on the teli...very Waiting For Guffman / Best In Show.
Books
High Fidelity by Nick Hornby is a great book...I recommend reading it before you see the movie. Too late.
I'm a big Stephen King fan. The movies can't really capture the man's descriptive genius...He scares the s*@~ out of me.
Heroes
James Garner and Bell Biv DeVoe. SPORTS! I'm a Cub fan so you may not know most of my heroes. And once more, no need sending me your condolences or picking on the Cubs...they're harmless and never really threaten anyone. Besides...if you have a problem with the Cubs...you most likely spend your spare time pushing over wheel chairs.

About me: I'm a stand up comic with little or no respect for all things considered sacred by the powers whom think they be. My show is a high energy riot act of sketches and stories from the special olympics to the rape crisis center and anything in between. Don't come looking for the "did you ever notice this, what's up with that, who hates their job, how long ya been married, fat joke guy!" I'm too busy going from town to town, and door to door letting all the local straights know that there's a verbal felon in town. Hey, it's a life and I love it. And for the most part, I get away with it too. I'm 5'4", dressed like an 8 year old and built like Terry Schivo...with a childlike innocence found in the naughty kid...I was always prone to flipping our pastor the bird for reaction. No beatings! Just got a kick out of my parents talking circles out of the impossible situation. Oh, I'm also a real estate investor...but that's really not all that interesting. Like talking about taxes or insurance...and the hypnotist said...sleep.

What's up Cowboy Randy? How's life back at the ranch? Sorry to hear about the horse incident... but I think you're supposed to use a donkey, at least that's what my gardener said......

Cal Ripken Jr. retired from baseball today. He was a consummate professional. They broke the mold when they made him. What a class act. Baseball will miss him. You can't fill his shoes. Truly one of a kind.
