Sounds Like
that dream you once had where your band was playing this crazy little club and there were lights flashing and pulsing over everything and the crowd was totally into the music and dancing and having a great time, and afterwards you split up from your friends because this girl invited you back to her place to smoke a joint and while you were at her apartment a party seemed to break out in the other room and you sort of drifted away to there and later the sun was coming up and you were on a beach and the wind was blowing harder and harder and you just walked into the water with all your clothes on and the clouds were amazing and the stars were shinning although it was still daylight and you suddenly remembered that you still had another set to play ....
Neo-psychedelic renegades, Chicago's Red Plastic Buddha live in that half-light between the flower power of Carnaby Street and the darkness of an LSD trip gone wrong. Their music layers guitars, keyboards, and wave upon wave of vocal harmonies over insistant rhythms to create a psychedelic experience that goes far beyond mere imitation of their influences.
"We've been going through a lot of changes lately" says singer / bass guitarist Tim Ferguson. "We brought in a new guitarist (Tom Valenzano) and a new backing vocalist (Pamela Richardson). The music is definitely becoming more organic as we sort these changes out. I think we've gotten better at controlling the chaos aspect of our psychedelia. 2008 promises to be an exciting year, with the first CD out and the new material (and members) starting to gell. Although we will always love doing the smaller, private events, we're looking forward to playing clubs and festivals more often."

By the way your song is my Mrs' favourite of all the songs on DG5. She's says I don't suit lilac, but I think she's probably just trying to get that t-shirt for herself...

Hi Tim! Glad to have news from our friends overseas. Hope you're going well too. Thanx for your kind comments, and sharing our music around. I also play your record to some friends of mine, who really enjoy it. Any news about this fanzine interview?... We've seen Black Moutain (from Canada, on Jagjaguwar label), and it was one of my favorite show EVER! If you don't know them, they'll change your life for sure. We've been on studio last week-end to record a few songs. The recording session will last until the end of the month. So more of Moonjellies soon...
