The brainchild of Jim Dorling (Town & Country, DRMWPN), Relaxation Record plays meditative long-form songs with unconventional and ever-changing instrumentation.
Relaxation Record recently scored Scott Wolniak's "Healing Colors, Musical Notes," part of his exhibition "Ungray: Color, Light, and Other Balms," currently on exhibit at the Chicago Cultural Center. They will recreate the score live at the Cultural Center Thursday, March 12th at noon, and at Elastic (2830 N Milwaukee) on the evening of Friday April 10th.
