Here's a video sent to us by David Knox. It's the first three chapters in a seven or eight part song, that will hopefully be out before the end of the year!
The video was recorded late April 2009 in Fred Zeppelin's in Cork at Andy WIlson's Open Mic. Thanks again for that one Dave, a very nice surprise. :)
We are now available on iTunes, more online sellers coming soon too. :)
The rumours are true of another single released on www.downloadmusic.ie
Things You Will Know is the song.
It's available on the site OR you can text 'music 1391' to 57501 to add the download to your account.
It's 0.99c ...which hopefully won't break anyone's bank ;)
(Due to this bio section being taken word for word for gig details/reviews etc. we are going to write something in the 3rd person, so forgive us for doing so, we feel a bit silly doing it...) Resurrection Fern is a new project to see where a non-percussive instrumentation might have taken the songs. In the near future this mayall change...stay tuned. They have been branded with several genres including alternative folk, minimalism, indie, acoustic earth tones!, experimental and many more... but they all hold folk very close to heart. It's apparent underneath the flow of the songs, both on their debut album, 'Earth Rising' and in their live shows. Stay tuned for tracks from the upcoming album which will be recorded this summer.
With up to five in the band, songs can be at risk of sounding too full, this however, is not the case with Resurrection Fern. Moments are carefully selected for each musician to add their part, and is done with great skill.

Bean Dolan writes the lyrics and song structures, but Annie, Dave and Eddie all have their own projects on the go as well. As a result, some live shows can end up having a four band bill, and never need to stray outside a core group of musicians, as all five players, seen here in Resurrection Fern, also play in the other groups.
This bandpage was setup in haste due to last summer's tour that began the day the album was finished! Resurrection Fern would like submissions for what should be written here. Message us and let us know what you think of the songs, gigs, pics, instruments etc. so we can legitimately write this in the third person, whilst getting quotes from people who are really interested, as opposed to being paid to do it. Hope you enjoy your visit!
New free Herv digital album out now on Cock Rock Disco!
Hi there,
Just a quick note to let you know that I have a new free digital release out now on Cock Rock Disco if you would like to take a listen.
Heres what label owner Jason Forrest / Dj Donna Summer had to say!
Herv: "Not figuratively, but literally in love with Music..."
"Ireland's sexiest laptopper lands his latest mini-album on Cock Rock Disco! "Not figuratively, but literally in love with Music..." is a rave inspired experimental break-acid-core thrill ride of endless ideas and possibilities. Herv packs a lot into the 8 tracks; melodies evolve and twist, beats fracture and congeal and synths collide! It's exciting! But that's not all, it comes with 2 cd designs and a freakin A0 sized poster! Whoa! Can't beat the value in that!"
The brother just showed me John Butler on Youtube playing 'Ocean'. Man, did that bring a tear to my eye... Beautiful stuff....& yep, I can see why ye might get mistaken for him!

I suddenly felt like sending warmest wishes and cordial greetings to some of my Myspace friends.
The fact that my new album ‘Tickety-Boo’ is being released to record shops and on iTunes on Friday, September 25 with a show in The Village, Wexford St featuring a full 8 piece band + guests Arrow in the Sky and The Last Tycoons, is purely coincidental.
Thanks Bean, really like your stuff. Ye have always been a really tight band. Have been doing more band gigs lately but hope to get back and do a few more acoustic gigs now as the band is no more! you gigging much yourself?
Sorry you guys couldn't come down last night. we missed you terribly. Hope all ok down your way. Really annoying that you can't continue to listen to the lovely songs while writing a bleedin' comment!! AAAAGGGHHH!!!
