Rhett Tyler is a world-class musician and performing artist whose extraordinary talent rivals that of the forefathers of modern blues guitar. Rhett and his new band recently played a successful gig with Kenny Wayne Shepherd down at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, New Jersey- Youtube videos of the concert are soon to appear on the web. Rhett not only masters both the six-string electric and twelve-string acoustic guitars, but he is also an accomplished singer, songwriter, arranger, composer, and producer. His music is an eclectic mix of blues, jazz, rock, gospel, and more- always centered in traditional roots. I spoke to Rhett tonite----he is home after being in ICU for 5 days and near death----has babesia.....wants his fans to know how much he loves them; feels God has given him another chance---his next record will be devoted to his fans and the love he feels for them and "will be the best ever"! He wants to thank everyone for their love/support/devotion and is confident he will recover!
