That unexplainable “get up and dance” rock/funk vibe that can’t be avoided.

Bio
Fun first, Friends second, Band mates third
Bands and attrition, attrition and bands, not even the boys from Rico Biscuit were immune. In the history of rock and roll bands have broken up, dissolved and reformed over 24,576 times, the worst example being the addition of Gary Cherone to Van Halen. But I digress, the boys from RB wanted to be together forever. This however, would not be the case.
The first to disappear was bassist Ric “Real Deal” Neil who decided to pursue a PhD in horticulture at Humboldt County Community College in California. They have great soil, seclusion and lots of sun. With his departure, the band became a three piece.
The three-piece band has always been a rock and roll staple, the Stones, Beatles and Led Zeppelin to name a few. So the boys, Evan, Brett and Brian soldiered on and continued to make the music they loved. Evan Middlesworth, took over the bass duties with his McCartney-esque deliveries all the while keeping his vocal duties intact. This left the shredding duties to the one and only Brett Markle, standing over seven feet tall and pulling strings faster than a dirty puppet show. Brian “Ray Ray” Ochs continued his skin destroying assault behind the kit. But alas, he had other ideas in his head.
Brian soon announced he would be leaving the green and gray allies of Seattle to the dusty streets of Dallas, Texas to open his very on cow skin tannery and brewery called, Ray Ray Rocker’s Cow Skin Knockers Saloon. He wanted to create his very own line of cow skin drum kits to be sold worldwide. His home brew ain’t bad either, try the Captain Dakota Pale Ale, it’s the palest.
If you are good at math, you know this left two remaining members of RB. The duo wanted to continue to make music together but became severely limited without a drummer. Luckily they could not escape their past. There had been on occasion a stalwart drummer who filled in for Mr. Ochs behind the kit when he was off pursuing land and cattle acquisition. This substitute drummer was now the answer to the reformation of Ricochet Biscuit.
Adam Weissman was a former child star, appearing in many episodes of Silver Spoons and Facts of Life. But eventually, he was led to the stool behind the bass drum with the help of Todd Bridges. They became fast friends and Adam picked up the necessary acrobatics to become a world-renowned drummer. He settled himself in Seattle, far away from the lights and smog of Los Angeles, to pursue his lifelong dream of miniature airplane modeling.
His addition to the band in early 2008 solidified the new line up. With new vigor and excitement the boys continued on with the rock and roll. They still have the underpinnings of funk and roots rock but with their new ally behind the kit will lead them down new paths and into dark corners. We look forward to Ricochet Biscuits’ next recorded effort, but in reality, know the breath of the band survives in their live shows in front of people who love music and dig rock and roll.
