It all started in the 8th grade when lead guitar played Kyle Schonewill, singer / songwriter / acoustic guitar player Grant Geertsma and former drummer Tyson Wevers, got together and started playing their own music. They had been playing together for a couple of years already, but it wasn’t until then that they started playing their own music. Soon a great friend, who also happened to play electric guitar, Josh Gritter, was added to the band as well. A couple of years, shows, and a debut c.d. later, drummer Tyson Wevers left Holland Michigan to attend College. Ringer T worked on replacing him and eventually found a new drummer in Justin DeWaard. Ringer T Really worked on developing their sound and writing more music. When Kyle, Grant, Josh, and Justin reached their junior years of high school, they added a bass player, Kyle’s brother, Kristopher Schonewill. In the summer of 2008, Ringer t parted ways with Josh Gritter. They continued to practice even more heavily. The newly permanent band clicked really well. They continued to write music and as of the fall of 2008, Ringer T has played many shows, recorded 4 CD's and are continuing to develop there sound. Just 4 guys, trying to make great music and let people sing along.
