Rocket Kid was born a freak on the playground of Cranbourne school in Basingstoke, England.
Rocket Kid's first song was a cover of System's chop suey, he took it steadily from there...
Rocket Kid's first show was supporting the band funeral for a friend (very badly) at Testbourne School hall, Witchurch, November 2002...
and after that fateful night, Rocket Kid continued to play many shows.
For many years and once every blue moon, Rocket Kid would be heard developing new sounds at Doovey's and playing those sounds at shows around the world! (of the south).
Rocket Kid was inspired by the sounds and written for the fans of bands such as:
Thursday
Finch
Biffy clyro
The Bled
Hell is for heroes
Muse
Thrice
Etc.
And although alot of you (now much older) fans of the early noughties 'emo-hardcore' explosion would love to deny it... you know who you all are, and it will live on in your memory whether you like it or not! ha.
