’Neglecting any boundaries and representing a challenge for those willing to categorize hardcore bands into oldschool, new york hardcore, metalcore, beatdown or any other label, Roll the Dice the band paved its own musical road from their debut Enemy Mine on Frontline Records till this day.
Formed out of the womb of Bonehead, metamorphoses are a constant factor in Roll the Dice. Where the former band started as a fast and furious 4-piece punkband and grew more into hardcore through the years, the latter continued the path and blended its sound with more hardcore, metal and and beatdown riffs. With the addition of a second singer and a second guitar in the line up, more power was added resulting in their current sound and more intense live performances.
The first release of the band was impressive enough to receive positive critics and together with the bands live performance opened doors to large number of shows including the finals of the Oost-Vlaams Rockconcours, Debuutrock, Rock Herk and at the Dour festival. Unfortunately for the band after this the band was forced to a period of non-activity as some tragedy stroke the band when the drummer felt victim of a car accident that left him unable to play for more than one year.
Where things like this can be the end of many bands, this incident didnt meant the end of the band. Instead they crawled back out of this dark period and a new line-up was formed.
During the past Roll The Dice shared stages with: Knuckledust, Kickback, CDC, King of Clubz, 25TA Life, Bloodshot, Born From Pain, I Reject, 7th Legion, The Hood, In Blood We Trust, Comin Correct, Pro-Pain, Die My Demon, The Rykers, Morda, Congress, Another Breath, This Is Hell, The Business, Tech9, Settle The Score, J’N (Jane), Inside Me, For The Glory, Surge of Fury, Lawstreet16, Values Intact, Boxing Crime, Lowlife, Retaliate, Out of Reach, Incarnate, Onfall, ...
