The Roustabouts were a punk rock band from Oklahoma City, OK. They were founded by singer/guitarist Nick Waggoner, drummer Jesse Smith and original bassist Chris Herron. Daniel Felton was added in 1998 as lead guitarist and Nic Massey was added on bass in 2002 replacing Chris. Most known for their relentless touring and explosive live shows, the Roustabouts played hundreds of shows all across the U.S. from 1997-2005. In 2005 they decided to call it quits with one final amazing show at the Green Door in Oklahoma City. It was also the last show ever at the Green Door. It was a sad day for music in OKC and will be remembered by the ones who attended forever.
Although the Roustabouts were a band for over 8 years, they only released one full-length album. On June 5th, 2002 "The Only One" was released on Haunted Town Records out of Chicago, IL. They did 2 nation wide tours to promote the album and several mid-west tours.
On June, 2008 the Roustabouts reunited for one show in Oklahoma City at the legendary club VZDs. They were also joined by long time friends and tour mates Tanka Ray from Kansas City, MO. They performed an amazing show full of songs from "The Only One" as well as songs that were written before the bands demise in 2005 to a capacity crowd.
***UPDATE! The Roustabouts have a new release! In 2004 they recorded 2 songs for a Naked Raygun Tribute LP to be released on Little Mafia Records. Four years and many changes to the roster later the LP is finally available. Head over to Little Mafia's Myspace for more details and to get your hands on it.

Grease & Ink” Kustom Car Show being held in conjuction with the “Midwest Tattoo and Metal Convention” at the Sheraton Hotel Convention Center in Midwest City, OK July 18, 2009.
This is a full three day event starting Friday the 17th inside the convention center. One hundred tattoo artists from around the country will be on site. Bands and side show acts performing inside all three days.
A Friday night meet and greet for all participants of the car show will be out side Friday evening starting at 6:30 The car show starts at noon Saturday and is hosted by the Road Killers Car Club. There will be Kustom one off trophys given out and a DJ spinning the best rockabilly and psychobilly all day long. Vendors will be on hand as well.
Glad to see you guys are still around. Saw you guys play down here years ago with The Staggers (if I recall right). Joe and Matt are in a new band now called Dog Company btw. You should come down here again and play with them :). -Jay
