I'm from the Denver area, now living in the Utah mountains with my husband, 3 little boys, 2 dogs, a cat, quite a few fish, and a crabby crab. In addition to writing books, I'm a freelance copy writer and proofreader. I also enjoy acting and have been in indie films, commercials, and had a very short and exciting stint on a TV series.

CONFERENCES: I'll be presenting a workship ("Finding Your YA Voice") and a key-note luncheon for the League of Utah Writers Sept. 12-13 in Ogden, Utah. I recently (May 17) did a workshop entitled "Overcoming Obstacles in the Middle of the Novel" for SCBWI in Salt Lake City and no one threw rotten fruit at me.
SCHOOL VISITS: Would you like me to come visit your school or book club? Contact me via MySpace or my web-site, www.wendytoliver.com. I'm open to topics, but some I have done (and didn't have anyone throw rotten fruit at me) include: A Writer's Life, Writing a Novel, and The Sirens of Greek Mythology.
