Samsara would like to announce that out new singer is Nick from Face Eater. We are stoked and excited with what Nick has to offer this band and can't wait to now move forward knowing we've found the right person. Thanks to all those who tried out, we appreciate the effort and time you all put in. The aim now is to finish writing our second album, which we have almost done and get back out there playing shows.

Samsara
The instant buzz around the forming of Melbourne's Samsara in 2005 was due to the pedigree of it's members. A demo was recorded and released on Trial and Error in 2006 and the line up finalized to what appears on the debut album The Emptiness. Samsara are a meld of the old school and the new with frontman Baina of Her Nightmare fame mixed in with the rest of the band coming from Within Blood, Shotpointblank, Day Of Contempt,
101 Words and even heading back further to the first Mindsnare and Blood Duster albums.
With all of this experience the band knew what sound they wanted and looked To Kurt Ballou to realize this. Not only has Kurt worked with Doomriders, Hope Conspiracy, Cave In, 108 to name a few but has also played and recorded his own band Converge. The album was tracked by Kurt in Australia and then taken back to his GodCity studio in Salem Massachusetts before being mastered back in Australia by John Ruberto at Crystal
Mastering.
Samsara have shared stages with overseas acts Hatebreed, Madball, Comeback Kid & Bleeding Through as well as Mindsnare, Against, 50 Lions & Miles Away. Last December saw them out nationally with From The Ruins and this September/October will see them out again all over the country to support The Emptiness with Mindsnare and Against playing club shows as well as the Get Rocked festival in Byron Bay with Parkway Drive
Blunt Magazine review 9/10
'The end Result is a killer debut - a cross between Satisfaction
Is The Death Of Desire (Hatebreed) and Seasons In The Abyss
(Slayer)...not at all overproduced, still feeling raw and savage
... the guitars are constantly on the shred...Baina's vocals sound
heavy and tortured, and the drums are relentless double kick
fury - exactly what the songs call for. The bar has been officially
raised in Oz hardcore again.'
