YOU ALWAYS WALK AROUND waiting for something better. For something to happen. For someone to ask nicely. And still nothing happens until you just do it on your own. Until you stop listening to opinions and expectations. The title of my second album "Why? Because. When? Now." is my answer to all that. I don..t need to explain and motivate why I do everything. And that just made it a whole lot easier to get things done.
So, I should probably tell you a bit about myself also. I grew up in the north of Sweden, in a town called Östersund. Life in a small town was, as it usually is, great until I became a teenager. I wished for nothing than to be cool and live in a big city. Somewhere around that time I started singing and trying to express myself through music. Eventually I moved to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden and started working with music more professionally. I sang with different bands and toured around Europe and South Africa with Swedish Cirkus Cirkör. During this whole period I got more and more convinced I wanted to record my own music.
In February 2006 I released my debutalbum "Stupid like me". It was written, recorded and produced by me together with guitarist Henrik Ekberg. The whole album came together in a very 21st centuryish kind of way – we recorded it at home. This time around I..ve had the opportunity to work differently and bring in more musicians to play on the album. It has really made the songs come together in a whole new way, atleast I think so. The result – "Why? Because. When? Now." will be released in AUGUST 2007. The first song off the album is "Off on you".
