Sarcolytic was forged in late 2003, as a side project of Images Of Violence members and Ricky Myers of Disgorge. They wrote and released a 3 song e.p. on Lacerated Enemy Records in 2004,and released 2 songs on the Ossuary Industries Records 4 way split entitled “limb splitter” alongside Devourment, Godless Truth, and Steven Watkin’s project, Sect Of Execration, in 2006 Ricky since moved to Texas, where Jon, Steven, and Mark reside, and Sarcolytic has become a full time project. Sarcolytic are now new found members of the Unique Leader family and are about to release their first full length album, "thee arcane progeny", in late august of 2009. Nine blistering tracks, entailing the 14 tablets deciphered from the lost book of Enki, by Zecharia Sitchin.
