The foundations for Vindicator were laid in Summer 2005, with two splits in the Cleveland-area metal scene. Burgeoning thrashers Violent Night split up, while at the same time Marshall (under the guise "Khaine"), left the infamous black metal outfit, Black Trinity.
In September, brothers Vic and Jesse, left discontent with the sudden break up of Violent Night, decided to begin searching a new musical venture. Learning that long time friend Marshall was also now without a band, Vic asked him to take on the vocal and bass duties. Thus Vindicator was born.
These three maniacs set out on a mission to deliver balls-out, skull-stomping, teeth-kicking death/thrash metal to the world.
