Scarecrow Collection is an original group of musicians creating an original sound.They have been described as "Rock n' Roots Music", but their music is truly genre breaking. Brothers Joe and Gerard Fee have been playing together their whole lives. Gerard plays acoustic guitar, lead vocals, and the main songwriter of the band. Joe plays every instrument under the sun. For this acoustic trio, his main instrument is acoustic and slide guitar as well as contributing percussion and lyrics. Ed is a classically trained pianist, lends his talents on piano, hammond organ and harmony vocals. Ed has been with the band since 2003. Scarecrow Collection fuses creative songwriting with a pop sensibility all while holding onto their biggest influences. They have been part of the jamband scene for many years and are now excited to play as an acoustic trio. Their new collection of songs are driven by simple yet catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics. Touching on emotions all of the band members dealt with, Scarecrow Collection once again put their heart and soul into their newest material. You can listen to our music as well as watch some videos. TODAY'S THOUGHT IS ABOUT THE GENIE IN THE LAMP ...
A man had just gone through a bitter divorce.
One night, he discovered what appeared to be an old oil lamp. He rubbed the lamp, and sure enough, a GENIE appeared right before his eyes.
The GENIE, knowing about the man's recent divorce told him that he had 3 WISHES - on the condition that the man's ex-wife would be given DOUBLE whatever the man wished for.
For his first wish, the asked for ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Suddenly a briefcase appeared, and opening it up, the man discovered ONE MILLION DOLLARS in cash inside the briefcase. At that very moment, 2 briefcases suddenly appeared in his ex-wife's house containing a total of TWO MILLION DOLLARS.
For his second wish, the man requested a new Rolls Royce automobile, and at that instant a brand new Rolls Royce pulled into the man's driveway. Just across town, 2 new Rolls Royce automobiles pulled into the driveway of his ex-wife's house.
The GENIE folded his arms and asked the man, "What is your THIRD WISH?"
And the man replied, "GENIE, I want you to BEAT ME HALF TO DEATH."
