Seit 2005 veranstalten scratched surface ihr spread infection festival in der krypta im göppinger stauferpark. Die Konzertreihe ist immer wieder eine bewährte Anlaufstelle für Metalfans aus dem ganzen Filstal. Die Bühne vor dem stets ausverkauften Saal betrampelten bereits Davidian, Undertow, Stahlmagen, Ink, Igut (croatia), Inciter (croatia) und viele weitere. Eines war jedoch immer garantiert: Ein rohes Undergroundfestival ohne Kitsch und Blumen. Bands, Publikum, Krach auf's Maul. Mehr gibt es nicht, mehr braucht man nicht.

August 2010 Humpty Night Daniel Benavente (Humpty / Stuttgart) Oli Hauf (Humpty / Stuttgart) Romy S., Stuttgart, Beginn: 23:00 Uhr Die Endstation ist leider auf Welttournee (oder wo auch immer), aber wir haben würdigen Ersatz gefunden, und zwar zwei DJs, die sich schon länger mit Techno beschäftigen als alle Endstation-DJs gemeinsam alt sind ;) und zwei absolut coole, sympathisch-kauzige Typen obendrauf. Daniel Benavente und Oliver Hauf schmeißen nicht nur den heutigen Abend mit all ihrem umfangreichen Techno-Wissen, das sie in den letzten 20 Jahren gesammelt haben, wovon ihre erlesene Plattenauswahl zeugen wird, sondern sind seit vielen Jahren unter der Woche ein Duo. Gemeinsam schmeißen sie den Humptys Plattenladen, mittlerweile im H7 mit Blick auf den HBF residierend. Beide haben abseits des Plattenladens viel für die lokale Techno-Szene getan. Benavente hat einst die legendäre Clubreihe Neue Heimat inszeniert und bevorzugt Acts aus UK nach Stuttgart gebracht, die man zuvor nicht im Kessel bzw. aufm Pragsattel gehört hat. Außerdem ist er der Gründer der Labels Mutter und Neue Heimat Rec. Und hat auch schon selbst Platten veröffentlicht. Samstag, 21. August 2010 Someone Else (Foundsound / Berlin) Eric Walker (Phoenix Records / Stuttgart) Romy S., Stuttgart, Beginn: 23:00 Uhr Witzig, es gibt eine Pfälzer Coverband die Someone Else heißt. Die Selbstbeschreibung klingt durchaus verlocken: „Rock, Pop, Soul, Funk, Punk, Hard Rock und Rock'n'Roll und vor allem jeder Menge Spaß jede noch so verschlafene Bude in Stimmung!“ Aber hallöchen, da bleiben wir doch lieber bei unserem Someone Else, der ebenfalls in jede noch so verschlafene Bude Stimmung reinbringt. Aber halt nicht mit „fetziger Partymusik der letzten drei Jahrzehnte“, sonder mit astreinem Minimal-Techno. Egal wo. Kanada, Mexiko, Brasilien, Argentinien, England oder eben in der Romy.
