Alcohol, Howard's Alias, Save Ferris, Carl Fontana, casual sex, Reuben, JB Conspiracy, Frank Rosolino, waking up and not knowing where you are or how you got there, Out of Luck, early RX Bandits, Blondie, Benji (Drew's dead dog), Squirrel Nut Zippers, No Use For A Name, Sonic Boom Six, and that nagging feeling that you're not as cool as you think you are...
Second Time Lucky are an 8 piece Ska band with added Pop-Punk flavour hailing from Brighton, UK.
This band have recently been signed to Rann Records and will be recording their first full length album later this summer. With gigs lined up in the USA and Europe its fair to say that this is an exciting time for Second Time Lucky.
Second Time Lucky's familiar yet refreshing blend of Ska has proven popular with all generations and musical tastes. They have supported some of the 2tone Ska greats including Bad Manners and The Selecter, whilst also stirring up interest and support from audiences of new 3rd and 4th wave fans due to the varied range of influences and styles each of our musicians bring to the table.
Formed in July 2003 as a collection of experienced musicians from local Ska bands, we blend a punk rock attitude with the fast paced rhythms and cheery attitude of Ska to create a mixture that will both rock your socks off and have you skanking in your pants. They give you melodic vocals wrapped up in straight clean guitar riffs with powerful catchy bass and brass lines, all held up with sharp and snappy danceable beats.
Hope to see you at a gig soon!
