Alcohol, Howard's Alias, Save Ferris, Carl Fontana, casual sex, Reuben, JB Conspiracy, Frank Rosolino, waking up and not knowing where you are or how you got there, Out of Luck, early RX Bandits, Blondie, Benji (Drew's dead dog), Squirrel Nut Zippers, No Use For A Name, Sonic Boom Six, and that nagging feeling that you're not as cool as you think you are...
Second Time Lucky were a 7 piece Ska band with added Pop-Punk flavour hailing from Brighton, UK.
The band are signed to Rann Records and released their first full length album 'Drink.Sleep.Repeat' on 13th July 2009. We played gigs in the USA and generally had an awesometime.
Our familiar yet refreshing blend of Ska has proven popular with all generations and musical tastes. We have supported some of the 2tone Ska greats including Bad Manners and The Selecter, whilst also stirring up interest and support from audiences of new 3rd and 4th wave fans due to the varied range of influences and styles each of our musicians bring to the table.
Formed in July 2003 as a collection of experienced musicians from local Ska bands, we blend a punk rock attitude with the fast paced rhythms and cheery attitude of Ska to create a mixture that will both rock your socks off and have you skanking in your pants. We give you powerful melodic vocals wrapped up in straight clean guitar riffs with catchy bass and danceable brass lines.
Hope we saw you at a gig!
