Community Art Event.... SEE THROUGH SOULS

See Through Souls is a combined expression; artists of all kinds, musicians, neighbors, businesses all with a love and longing for community! The exhibit will feature thirty window artists. Each artist will utilize a window of choice; many from a collection salvaged from urban rehabilitation taking place in Kirkwood, East Atlanta, Oakhurst and other surrounding communities in Atlanta, Georgia. Each window will be for sale during the exhibit reception.

The proceeds will be divided between the artist, venue and charitable organizations of choice. Many more details about the reception - COMING SOON!

An incredible live musical line-up will also grace the exhibit during the reception. And several pre-exhibit celebrations will be announced soon!!!

See Through Souls challenges artists, musicians, neighbors, businesses, and new and old friends to join together for soulful event to benefit and to share with all!

Human artists ready to be apart of this ... an expression of self! Those who wish to purchase fine window artworks, those who wish to view/feel/experience window artworks, live fresh music, sweet tasty community collaboration!

See Through Souls ~ here is a break down of the project ...

We give you a window, you find a window, you have a window... Just one. You can work alone or with a partner, with a crew. You can do whatever the hell you want with the window, as long as it is an expression of yourself or collective selves.

2008 brings along new opportunities for See Through Souls and all participants! This year there will be a twenty dollar entrance fee for all artists participating in the exhibit...now don't you worry ~ this is an opportunity, remember!!! The twenty dollar entrance fee does not need to be paid by the artist! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING??? Well, in order in include more community, more businesses, more humans...each artist can (and is encouraged to) invite a business, an individual, whoever one wishes to sponsor their window! The entrance fee would then be passed to the sponsor on behalf of the participating artist. The sponsor will then be included on most to all print and electronic marketing. NOW, YOU SAY WHY?!! See Through Souls goal is to bring together community...what a wonderful way to include more people, introduce more people than in an expansive window gathering!
