    Formed in February of 2010, SET APART has created a mature, technical, and captivating blend of singing/screaming melodic hardcore. Guitarists, Elijah Richards (ex-Ocean Is Theory) and Jamie Windham (ex-Sent By Ravens) put together a unique blend of intricate guitar work and powerful, heavy components. Bassist, ZacharyCapes and drummer, Andy Correa make up the solid rhythm section of SET APART. The driving rhythms and tightness really set this band apart. Brandon "BEEF" Hageman combines an awesome blend of powerful, in your face screaming and catchy, melodic singing that adds a twist in their sound. Their passion overflows the stage and their energy is contagious. Each member has a heart to share hope with those who need it.... SET APART maybe considered a new band but with each individual members experience and the work ethic as a whole, you could say this band has "Hit the ground running." Considering what they have done so far with several east coast tours, New England state tours, and as far out as Texas. Within the first six months of being a band, SET APART played over 100 shows. With their willingness to work hard and press forward, it's safe to say you will be seeing so much more from these guys and you will definitely be hearing the name SET APART in the days to come.
