Seven might seem like they’re representing the early 80s. Strongly influenced by bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees and Joy Division, Seven mixes sophisticated and powerful female vocals with new-wave, post punk rock. Their live shows burn out the stage! Seven has now released their fifth album - darker and more dramatic than the previous four. It will definitely blow your heads off, released October 2009.
The album is entitled "The Fifth".
Seven released their debut album "At the sixes and sevens", spring 2001. The critics where overwhelming and Seven had a great festival-summer and autumn playing in every corner of Norway. Massive radio-rotation of the songs Bite, Super, The Train and Hush made press and people aware of the band. Bite was also a hit on MTV.. Alternative Nation.
Autumn 2002 Seven released a limited edition of the EP called "Thieves like us". The songs No ordinary man and the title track made it very well on both radio and tv. The EP was a little tasty teaser on what was expected on their second album.
The title on their second album is "French kiss". Released March 2003. The radio singles was Party Party and Another day. As other releases, Seven publish the record on their own record label House of distillery rec.
"Dont change lover in the middle of the night" (MTG/House of destillery rec). Was released January 2005. The songs Is this and Blue sky was big hits radio and tv. Seven followed up in November 2006, releasing their fourth full-length album called "We are only stars". The song "City is burning" was a big radio hit in Norway.

Ompakara med selveste Benny Borg på laget, har spilt inn ny og heftig versjon av den legendariske Balladen om Morgan Kane.
Det 12 manns store Elverumsorkesteret med Balkansound og patent på Gangsterpolka , har denne gangen kastet seg på Mariachiompa genren, hvor den Mexicanske Mariachitropmeten kommer til sin rett.
Ompakaras fele høres denne gangen ut som en Marimba , banjoen er bytta ut med stringswing flamenco gitar, og det trente øre vil høre et godt gammeldags 70 talls stueorgel vugge med.

For sjette år på rad inviterer Bernard Briis Band til en herlig musikalsk dag på Café Utsikten på Ekeberg søndag den 23. august. Med spektakulær panoramautsikt over byen og fjorden som bakteppe byr Pluto and the Planets, This is Music Inc. Lasso, Grillbill and the Hotdogs, Jake Ziah og Bernard Briis Band på en magisk sensommeraften under åpen himmel. Utepils, matservering og byens beste vafler! Trikk 18 & 19 til Sjømannsskolen.

Tjohooooooo! vi spiller endelig i Oslo igjen(hører til sjeldenhetene, dagen før spiller vi i Moss, ta turen en av dagene)!! Detta blir nok siste konsert med vår kjære bassreim, Anne Marthe, som skal flytte til Larvik.
