Our goal with creating the Barong Jersey is to help spread the reach of our Pilipino culture, by creating something everyone can relate too and understand. I’ve always admired the beauty of our barongs, but not everyone can appreciate tradition. We need to update and reinvent our past to give them relevance in the present day era. Through the music Q-York creates our intent is to bridge the gap within our own people and build bridges to other cultures, the barong jersey serves the same purpose, bringing awareness to the world and reminding ourselves to the beauty of the Philippines.

..What is Internship?..

"Dem Apples" Fall Internship

..

Internship is the opportunity for students to participate in various aspects of the Pilipino and Pilipino American culture. Internship challenges the interns to think outside the box,and express their ideas in a safe space. Furthermore, interns will be educated about many issues facing the community and travel to Pilipino landmarks within San Francisco. The following workshops are included in the internship: Academics, Activities, Community, Cultural, History, Kaisahan, and Political Affairs.

As stated in our history, PACE is a safe space to learn and educate others about pride in our majestic Pilipino culture and community. The Pilipino American Collegiate Endeavor welcomes everyone in the SFSU community; the world challenges you to learn about yourself and your history.
