Shanti has been active in the Japanese music industry for over 10 years, writing lyrics and singing for jingles and film music. She has also written for many well know artists there, Toku, Marleen, Take 6, and her voice is known world wide due to her collaborations with Kanno Yoko for various animated films. She has appeared on stage as a background vocalist with a variety of top artists and since 2003 has been performing on her own.
Share My Air is her debut album, recorded in Paris with some of France's top musicians. NOW AVAILABLE on iTUNES!! and other download sites. The CD' is in stores in Japan as o well.

NEWS!! Shanti is co-hosting a music tv show; J-melo on NHK World starting October 2008. She is introducing Japanese Music from J-pop to Jazz to Hip Hop to R&B. She will also be doing out of town interviews and performing from time to time on the show!
