I'm a songwriter living in Nashville. I've written songs all my life, but just started promoting them and meeting people in the music biz about 2 years ago. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I manage a young artist from Virginia named Kaitlyn Baker. She is dedicated, beautiful and AMAZING! You've never heard a voice like hers before, I guarantee it!!! She's currently working with Dan Mitchell and Dale Morris (Dale manages Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Alabama, etc.) She is going places. :-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been on tour with an awesome country/pop artist named Hannah McNeil, playing guitar and singing BGVs. She's a ball of energy and has such a great heart. We sang at lots of venues in lots of states, but one of the most rewarding was at a homeless shelter in Omaha, Nebraska, that Hannah's mom and dad started over 25 years ago. Incredible stories. We also sang at a showing of "the Heart Gallery" in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The Heart Gallery is a collection of professional pictures that tours to different locations trying to find an adoptive home for waiting children in foster care. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also work with an artist and writer named Dixie Brown, who is, besides being one of my best friends on the planet, an incredible artist who is up to lots of great things. Can't tell you what yet though, LOL!!! But they involve a major producer and more than just the country market. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have been fortunate enough to place in several major song contests in the last 2 years, including 2 first place wins. I was also selected to be in Jeffrey Steele's songwriter bootcamp in 2008. I own a publishing company called "Steel Train Music" and I'm working with three songpluggers here in Nashville. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I write and play writer's nights around Nashville, and I am also doing my own artist project (due out soon), though I consider myself to be a writer who can sing a little, rather than an artist who can write a little. :-) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a wife and proud mama of 5 awesome kiddos, three of whom were adopted as siblings from foster care. I am an adoption advocate, and am on the board of AGAPE, a local adoption and counseling agency. I also just published my first book, called "Dust," which is a book of hope for people going through addictions and/or depression. She co-wrote the song with Jesse Wray and Jeffrey Steele (also my co-writers) and has a video out on GAC! So proud of that girl! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am also managing and producing an amazing young artist from Virginia named KAITLYN BAKER. She has an incredible voice, she's beautiful, very committed, and has the sweetest family! What else is there? People are literally stunned by her voice when they see her perform. Go listen to her and see for yourself! Kaitlyn just got a development deal with Dan Mitchell and Dale Morris, who work with Kenny Chesney and Gretchen Wilson. So proud of that girl!!! Great things are happening for her!!! Yea!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am currently recording an ACOUSTIC PROJECT of my own at RIVERGATE STUDIO, which is owned by Chris Henderson (3 Doors Down) and Bobby Capps (.38 Special), and it's being produced by SEAN GASAWAY. I can't wait to get it done and share it with you! I was honored to work with Johnny Garcia (guitar, tours with Garth and Tricia) and Michael Hughes (piano, tours with Kellie Pickler) on this project! The studio is fantastic, everyone there is incredible and Sean is a great producer. And, I am actually enjoying singing my own songs for once. :-) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I WOULD NOT BE DOING MUSIC IF NOT FOR A COOL CAT NAMED JEFFREY STEELE...I owe that guy a lot. He put the music fire in me and it's still burnin'. My sassy sistahs "HANNAH MICK" and "DIXIE CHICK"...don't know what I'd do without them either.
