16/07/08 Important News!!!
As of 16th July Calum has been kicked out of Short Warning, for many reasons. Mainly he has told us he now refuses to tour, this includes the A Man Down/Short Warning tour starting next week. He told us yesterday that he would not do the shows as he had "more important things to do".
This has come as even more of a shock to us as just last month we recorded a single, shot a video for it last week and had a photoshoot just a few days ago.
First of all we would like to apologise to everyone, every promoter, A Man Down and anyone that was coming to see us, believe me when we say this is not what we wanted, and myself, Gareth and Carl wanted to do every tour date we had booked.
We are still continuing the band, we were a band for 3 years without Calum, and will continue to be one without him. Unfortunately we're gonna have to cancel all booked shows at the moment.
We're going to continue writing the new album as a 3 piece, and i promise before the year is out we'll be back out on the road and better than ever!

Short Warning, a charismatic British pop punk/rock outfit from London and Buckinghamshire with its own exciting sound, style and live performance, was formed when twin brothers Nick (bass) and Gareth (drums) met singer/guitarist Carl in college. The line-up was finally completed when lead guitarist Calum joined the band in early 2005.
Breaking out of its local circuit in 2006, playing shows up and down the country, also touring with Useless ID (Kung Fu) and 4Ft Fingers (Golf). The band was interviewed and filmed by Redemption TV, which has been broadcast on numerous occassions. Finally entering Stakeout Studios in winter 2006 to record the debut album “Safety In Numbers”, emerging with 12 tracks of catchy and energetic pop punk that is soaked in melody.
Short Warning's debut album “Safety in Numbers” was released in May 2007 to good reviews. One of the tracks "Working Title" featured in the BBC 1 comedy/drama "All About Me". The band completed a successful “Safety In Numbers” tour followed up by further tours with Spunge and Fandangle. The band is currently writing new melody inspired songs for the next album.
The band is ready to hit the road and your screens and they're not taking any prisoners! If you thought only the USA produced excellent punchy pop punk with bite, think again!!
