Hey whats up everyone? First off I'd like to thank anyone who has ever supported SHUTDOWN in any way shape or form. Well, its been a while but we are back in action. Currently the band has just finished writing its new album which will be called KEEP THE FLAME which has 12 new Tracks. For the past few months we have been reahersing and recording the preproduction for this album. We are currently also working on putting together some east coast and west coast dates so keep checking the page for those. For those who have never heard of us, welcome to our myspace page. SHUTDOWN is a New York City Hardcore band which started in 1994. Shutdown hit the New York Hardcore scene with a vengence in the mid 1990s and toured heavily around the world. Headlining and supporting bands such as Agnostic Front, Motorhead, Hatebreed, Sick of it All, Ignite, H2O, A.F.I., The Cro-Mags, Iggy Pop, Canderia, Vision of Disorder, Biohazard, and Earth Crisis just to name a few. We decided to start writing a new album about a year ago and once things got started it never stopped. We will be playing again quite often and hope to see everyone soon.
