Sigi's brother Jesse Chisholm-Beatson and I have been writing songs since 2004 and we recorded a 5 song EP called, "CHRONIC MALCONTENT" under the band name The Chronicles. The song on this site "A House is on Fire" is song 4 on that EP.
Community Radio, The CBC and pod casters around the world have been very generous with their support of our music.

Sigourney is Missing "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubt." Bertrand Russell 21 Kas 2009 tarihinde devamı
I am the father of Sigourney Teresa Chisholm, abducted by her mother Patricia O'Byrne in May of 1993. Sigourney was born September 20, 1991 and she turned 17 in September, although Sigourney her self, may not know her true identity and birthday. It has been 15 years of searching and longing for our family. There is a lot of love and catching up to do, waiting for Sigourney. Every day our family searches and prepares for the day we will be reunited and Sigourney will get to know us all over again.
I know Patricia O'Byrne loves Sigourney. But our daughter is left behind by her father (me), her 1/2 brother Jesse who is now 20 - Jesse was 4 years old when Sigourney was taken, loving grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. This site will tell you a little about the circumstances and the videos will let you get to know our family.
SEE THE STORY ON TV: In 10 minutes Sigourney's Gramma Joan and Aunt Ruthie talk about the criminal aspect of parental abduction, the child abuse of deprivation and deceit and just as real - the whole left behind and how it impacts family events as well as day-to-day life in our family
Sigourney's Grandmother and Aunt Ruth talk about the criminal aspect of parental child abduction as well as the huge hole left in our family as we have all been missing Sigourney at family functions and day-to-day life. Joe Chisholm, Sigi's dad talks about the facts of case his personal trauma and hopes for resolution.
As Sigourney's dad, I consider this a family issue, not a criminal one, but a warrant for Patricia O'Byrne's arrest is still out standing with The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Metro Toronto Police has an ongoing file open for this matter. 416-808-5105 (Toronto 51 Division). I have no vested interest in seeing Sigourney's mother put in jail (my interest is in Sigourney getting to know me, her grandparents, aunts, uncles and brother, all of which have love and experiences to share). Any criminal issues that have to be dealt with are between Patricia and law enforcement. I fully expect they will be fair and reasonable with Patrica and I would do my part to help see a speedy resolution to these legal matters, for Sigourney's sake.
(From a letter written May 17, 2007) "As I write this it has been 14 years to the day that I last saw my daughter. As a family we continue to be committed to finding Sigourney and letting her enjoy the patriarchal side of her family. I don't, nor does any one in our family mean Patricia any harm. As The Missing Children's Society of Canada says, "Parental abduction is never about 'what's in the child's best interest.' It's always about power and misguided revenge." I am not in a power struggle with Patricia. I just want to do my part in Sigourney's life and re-acquaint her with the side of her family that she's been deprived of.
CLOSE CALLS:
In our search we have followed Patricia to British Columbia , London and Tunbridge Wells in the UK and we now believe that they may both be in Spain or the USA."
We are grateful to all the people who have come forward with information and well wishes. Through Facebook, Myspace, YouTube and www.missingsigourney.com, our family has been so encouraged by the "cheering on" and the heart-felt sympathy, and in many other cases, empathy (let's not forget Child Abduction is not just this families problem - 800,000 cases of missing children are reported each year in the USA alone and 250,000 of them are illegal acts by one of the parents). I have met children and parents of reunited families and other searching families. I have met workers from dedicated organizations like Missing Children's Society of Canada and Forever Searching - just to name a few. It is often their strengh and compassion that keeps me going and gives me hope.
Sigourney likely has a new name and a new date of birth. Who knows if she really knows who she is. I bet she doesn't look any thing like the age enhancement. She may think she is 14, she may think she is 18, but she turns 17 this September.
If you have information about Patricia or Sigourney, please contact me directly or call The RCMP, Missing Children's Society of Canada, The Center for Missing and Exploited Children or your local authorities.
Patricia is 6 feet (184 cm) tall. Check the Blogs for information on her description and information on this case. Patricia has suffered from Depression in the past. She may be fine now, may be "self-medicating" - nothing is beyond the realm of possibilities. More information will be coming soon to this site so please stop back again.
Watch Justin Hines' single 'Courage' from his album, Chasing Silver.
So how is your day going?
Now compare it to some of the stuggles of others?
Now how's your day.
Check this out: Justin Hines has little time to feel sorry for himself as he sings the praises of those who battle their struggles. He inspires me. Have a look, have a smile, have a cry... It's OK.
Kimle tanışmak isterim: Friends of Sigourney and Patricia that feel loyalty or may be torn in terms of what they think the right thing to do is. Please use this site to get an idea of the "other side of the story." If you're reading this I suspect you are conflicted.
Consider talking to me directly, Jesse (Sigourney's 19 year old brother), my mother, father or sisters or Child Find Canada or Missing Children's Society of Canada to help you resolve what the best course of action should be. I know Patricia loves Sigourney. But so do I and so does her brother, cousins, aunts uncles and grand parents.
We sincerely feel that what ever temporary trauma or hardship that facing the truth will have on any and all parties concerned, it's the truth that will ultimately set everyone free.
I would also welcome contact with law enforcement, missing children's agencies or citizens from the UK or Spain that may have come into contact with Patricia or Sigourney.
CHECK OUT "The Sigourney Chronicles" Blogs. They are for Sigourney, you or anyone and can be distributed as you see fit. If and when we find Sigourney, it will be difficulty for her to learn that her reality isn't exactly what she thought and what she was told it was. She likely doesn't remember me or the rest of her family at all. These are 10 minute "get to know us" videos to help find out about the rest of Sigourney's family in bite-size pieces. Maybe these videos will find Sigi before we do, and that's OK. They could be, like Sting sings about in "Message in a bottle," through you sending some to your friends, them sending them to someone else and so on, these videos could one day be "1000 bottles washed upon the shore" - maybe even Sigourney's shore.

Here's a song we wrote with missing Sigourney and searching for Sigourney in mind. Maybe other searching families can relate in whole or in part: Running In the Rain Not every day is race-day, not every day there's sun But every day he contemplates the distance that he's done Gone are those childhood fantasies of cheers the world recalls He settles for small victories that most of us ignore He's running in the rain, running in the rain He runs while we indulge - don't you call it discipline There's an illness deep within him, running is his only medicine He can't outrun the restlessness, but his heart will keep the rhythm As he sweats away the toxins of every small and large decision He's running in the rain, running in the rain He keeps right on running while we all run for shelter There's a girl out there lost. When he finds her he will help her He's not running because it's raining It doesn't rain because he runs He's just running - it's just raining He gets wet, but he's not complaining He's running in the rain, running in the rain.
Here in Toronto I show the song to some of the DANFORTH JAM crew. Here's how they manage:
I really hope Sigourney is found Seeing as I live in Spain I will tell my friends about her and ask them to tell ther friends. I hope she will be found
