Silver Atlas explores several genres and moods simultaneously. Low key
downtempo soul, beat infested trip-hop, and up tempo house grooves all add to the allure of this amazing album. So where does our Silver Atlas take us this time? Destination: Layover! A more organic feel, using live drums and percussion to produce a hybrid groove of electronic and human beats. While the core creative direction is managed by founders Alan Ruffin and Jason Lichon, the addition of players Rex Espinosa and John Mastro has added instrumental virtuosity to the band's bag of tricks.
