    Starting in 2005 as a family band playing the parks and street corners of downtown New Bern, Silver Spire grew to become a favorite traditional Celtic band in the Carolina East. After the release of their CD, Epiphany, in the spring of 2008, Silver Spire gained success drawing fans through out the Crystal Coast and into the Raleigh and Charlotte areas. That fall Silver Spire's flute player, Erin Jean Murphy and fiddle player Ali Trombley were called to a higher education and Silver Spire was forced to take a "performance break". Silver Spire did not play again until the spring of 2009 when Silver Spire and other local performers played to a sold out crowd at a New Bern fundraiser to benefit Ed Ruiz, owner/operator of the music and arts-friendly Trent River Coffee Company. Now, as luck would have it, the schedules of Silver Spire members Ali Trombley (fiddle & vocals), Erin Jean Murphy (Irish flute), Zach Meadows (percussion & vocals), and Buzz Trombley (guitar) have meshed for a reunion of Traditional Irish and Folk Music. Join Silver Spire at Trent River Coffee Company, December 20th, for some great traditional music with an added touch of holiday flair. "

        SILVER SPIRE is having a reunion gig!!!!
