Simpl is a group of guys that plays rock music that is better than any other band out there, past or present (yes, including O-Town) . J. to the muthafuckin' Brookoff plays guitar/vox, Shilo "double H" alsey plays bass/keys/vox, Ryan Jizzle plays drums/vox, and Cameron "just call me Cameron" Jones plays guitar/vocals.
We released our first album in the summer of '07 and were a functioning band for about a year and a half until our original drummer, Scott Hawkins, left. Soon after, guitarist Joshua Brookoff quit, leaving us as a two piece. We've since recruited Ryan on drums and J. on guitar. Now we are unstoppable and unflappable. Sometimes even unconscionable.
In the meantime, we're working on a batch of new songs and it's honestly sounding better than ever. Very excited for things to come...
We're getting ready to put up demo versions of a couple new songs so that all you guitar players can hear what we're up to and decide if you'd like to join our band.
Cameron, I was relaxing this morning watching your videos on here, it was sweet. You have always amazed me with your talents. I was thinking about how when we were talking on the phone as kids and hearing your bass lines in the background. :)
Congrats on the endorsement! In my opinion well deserved. You guys have a great sound, and your live shows are great! Hope everyone else agrees and you guys get a sweet deal! Keep it up.
