Sins Of Forgiveness came to light from an old idea of bassist Sin (Angela Panzarella), who, in the old winter-spring 2005 aimed an all-female heavy-rock band. Unfortunately it was almost impossible to reach such an aim, so, after several changes, the band started playing all over Italy and even abroad, with the following line-up: Angela Panzarella (Bass, backing vocals), Patrizio Izzo (guitars, backing vocals), Alessandro Iovannitti (drums, since July 2007, replacing former drummer Monica Muzzopappa) and Mariangela Labianca (vocals) then substituted, during the tour with Vengeance, by Lara Bertoli (Ed Hunter; actually the first one summoned as vocalist in the band) and Sandro Manicone (Riot Act) in Verona and Rome. On September 2008 the band welcomed a temporary second guitarist Ilaria Floriani, who helped the band until the end of the year, and on October they confirmed the new vocalist, Lisa Preziuso. The band entered ACME Studios under the guidance of producer Mauro Munzi (former Line Out and Dhamm drummer) to record the full length album, and agreed with Parlo Film for the video of Crucified, so they are all involved in the release party. Abroad the band has arisen a great interest, especially after the reviews by Metalfactory (Switzerland, Germany) and Rise!Metal Magazine (Argentine, Uruguay). The band has been performing throughout Italy, also playing abroad, in the great Z7 of Pratteln, Switzerland, as opening act for Vengeance, during their 25th Anniversary Tour. Among the most important gigs: @Qube (RM) for RadioRock, @Stazione Birra (Morena, RM), @Jailbreak (Roma) for Rome&Roll Party III, and @VicoStock 2008 (August 2nd, 2008, with the bassist’s 30 b-day celebrations, too!) even this last gig with Sandro Manicone as frontman; for the “far away” live gigs, @Area24 of Marcello Bongiolatti in Vercelli, and, past a doubt, having been on the colossal stage of Z7 in Pratteln and the Umberto Theatre in Lamezia Terme. The band proposes a mix of hard rock, heavy metal and glam, with some prog and dark too, beating the different features of every single component of the band. Rock and baroque! just to quote Mauro Munzi in front of the scales and the bass-parts written by the bassist. Furthermore, Sin’s songwriting joins different themes one another: from literary reminiscences, to a glam taste, to more serious themes. Last but not least: the band is also engaged in the social: thanks to the co-operation between Sin and Dr.ssa Francesca Vitale of AIRC towards the end of 2006 the project “Rock X l’Airc” became a reality (music and literature to help research on Cancer)

I Sins Of Forgiveness nascono dall'idea della bassista Sin (Angela Panzarella) nella primavera del 2005. Dopo un po' di cambiamenti, la band assume una posizione stabile con la seguente formazione: Angela Panzarella (Basso, cori), Patrizio Izzo (chitarra, cori), Alessandro Iovannitti (batteria, cori, da luglio 2007, al posto della precedente batterista, Monica Muzzopappa) e Mariangela Labianca (voce) poi sostituita durante il tour coi Vengeance da Lara Bertoli e Sandro Manicone (rispettivamente a Verona, e Roma). E’ di ottobre 2008 l’ufficializzazione della nuova vocalist, insieme all’inserimento temporaneo di un’ulteriore chitarra (fino a fine 2008) di Ilaria Floriani, avvenuto in agosto. La band ha suonato in tutta la Penisola ed è giunta anche all'estero, in Svizzera (allo storico Z7) di supporto ai Vengeance nel loro 25th Anniversary tour. Tra le date di maggior rilievo vanno ricordate le diverse serate al Qube (RM)per RadioRock, a Stazione Birra (Morena, RM), al Jailbreak (Roma) per il Rome&Roll Party, e il VicoStock 2008 (2 agosto 2008, con i festeggiamenti per i 30 anni della bassista) sempre con Sandro Manicone alla voce; mentre per le date in trasferta degne di menzione sono le consuete serate all'Area24 di Marcello Bongiolatti a Vercelli, e senza dubbio l'aver calcato il gigantesco palco dello Z7 di Pratteln e il Teatro Umberto di Lamezia Terme. All'attivo l'omonimo Ep Sins Of Forgiveness, che si è guadagnato la top delle recensioni in Argentina (Rise!Metal Magazine) e in Svizzera e Germania (Metal Factory). I Sins Of Forgiveness sono entrati negli ACME Studios del produttore Mauro Munzi (già batterista Line Out e Dhamm), per la realizzazione dell’album, e hanno siglato anche con la Parlo Film per il video di Crucified. La band propone un misto di hard rock, heavy metal e glam, con punte a volte di prog e dark, che scandiscono le diverse venature tecnico-compositive dei componenti, e il gusto personale di ognuno. Rock e barocco! per quotare Mauro Munzi, di fronte alle scale e alle linee di basso presenti nei pezzi, e scritti dalla bassista. Il songwriting della bassista unisce tematiche varie, dalle reminiscenze letterarie, al gusto glam e alle tematiche più serie. La particolarità della band è data inoltre dalla grande forza scenica e dal sapiente gioco di squadra, che sottolinea in maniera delicata le particolarità che ogni musicista immette all'interno della band. Last but not least, la band è anche impegnata nel sociale: grazie alla collaborazione tra Sin e la dr.ssa Vitale dell’AIRC Lazio, verso la fine del 2006 ha visto la luce il progetto “Rock X l’Airc”, con musica e letteratura al servizio della ricerca del cancro.

each one comes from a different background: Sin's absolutely metal, prog and sth death and hard'n'heavy as well, Pat is quite metal of the 80s, hard'n'heavy and power and prog metal, Ilaria comes from the 80s hardrock and has been through different genres, and Ale is completely 80's hardrock -mad everything may seem quite "gay"!-
