.......... .. .. .. Buy Our New Album PC4PC Now On iTunes! Click ......Here...... .. .. .. .. Skasome Society was formed in September of 2006 in Westfield, Massachusetts. Kyle Bell, formerly of local act Nevermind, had met trombone player Frank Ascioti—oddly enough—through a series of Call Of Duty 2 multiplayer matches. After talking about a common interest in the genre of ska music, Kyle teamed up with friend and guitar player Mike Thompson to create Skasome Society. Frank introduced his close friend Zach “Scuba” Talmadge to play trumpet, as well as his brother Sam Ascioti from local punk act The Worst Four Years for bass. Originally, Sam was not supposed to be a permanent member of the band, as he cited The Worst 4 Years as his main project; however, no one could fill his shoes, so Sam became the permanent bass player. The final addition to this initial lineup came when the band decided more brass was needed: friend Robert LaRose stepped in to provide another trombone to the now 6-piece ska outfit. .... For the next year and a half, the lineup remained the same and new music was written. The band also soon began playing almost monthly at The Webster Theartre Underground in Hartford, Connecticut. They had the privilege of opening for such bands as Suburban Legends, Johnny 9 and the Racers and The Pietasters there. Their proudest point with the original lineup was winning a $1000 prize at a Battle of the Bands held in Longmeadow, MA. .... After their so called local "rise to fame," band members began to go through some differences and Mike Thompson left. Ironically, one of Skasome's biggest fans—and former guitar player of The Worst Four Years, which had taken an indefinite hiatus at the time—Dom Ascioti stepped in to fill his shoes. The final lineup change came after Skasome Society recorded their first LP, titled “Secondary Start,” in that Kyle Bell switched to splitting saxophone and lead vocal duties while Frank switched to drumming. .... Soon after, Skasome Society made several television and radio appearances. First, the band performed on Greenfield, MA’s "Homegrown," a local access program that featured up-and-coming Pioneer Valley musical acts. The second, WGGBY's “Making it Here: Teenstyle,” showcased the band alongside other talented teenage acts in Western MA. The band is also played regularly on Holyoke Community College radio WCCH. .... During the summer of 2009, Skasome Society returned to former guitar player Mike Thompson, now the owner of Zephyr Productions recording studio to record their first full-length album, titled “pc4pc.” Almost immediately after, they became known for their opening act for Big D and the Kids Table after a review from the Daily Collegian, the University of Massachusetts’ daily newspaper. The new album was released on December 19th, 2009 through the newly formed indie label: Argyle Gargoyle Records. .... To this day, Skasome Society can be seen performing around the north east coast of America, and is rumored to plan a U.S. tour in the summer of 2010. ...... ............Discography........ .. ........ .. ..PC4PC?
