Montecristo, The Whitest Boy Alive, Ramona Cordova, Nikki Sudden, Epic Soundtracks, Carpacho!, Ladytron, Raveonettes, The Music Lovers, Scott Matthew...
Born in Roma during March 2006, when Simone from Lain Records and Pietro from DNA Concerti decided to share their musical visions. Annachiara and Francesca soon followed to team up. The four began their adventure going in studio to produce Montecristo, with Mr. Tony James from Generation X and Sigue Sigue Sputnik invited to join the Italian punk rock wonderboys at guitars and production. Very nice time indeed. And a fantastic first album released in February 2007. Then Pietro received from Kings of Convenience's Erlend Oye the demos of Erlend's new project, The Whitest Boy Alive, a dreamy gem of visionary pop. Meanwhile Simone was in Berlin and at a gig in Mitte discovered the beautiful magical music of Ramona Cordova and the two invited him to play in Italy.
So Sleeping Star was already running, keeping the flame of the spirit of two of the most talented and true artists of these decades, Nikki Sudden and his brother Epic Soundtracks, whose legacy we hope to follow and make more alive than ever.
Stay tuned, music sounds better with you!

"Confusion Is Next embody everything I look for in musicians; passionate, intelligent and talented; people who perform purely for the joy of performing; and this comes across in the music they produce, a return to the glory days of Alternative Rock [...] Great music should trigger a response from the listener and Confusion Is Next’s song writing possesses this quality" ~ Barry Rogers, LostChildren Netlabel / Loss Of A Child
"CIN have struck a balance between the raw, loud sound that dominated their first two releases and the melodic, dynamic sound that began to appear in "Lost in Dark Days" [...] In just a few years, CIN have matured into a confident band who seem to have a clear vision of exactly where they want to go." ~ Michael Gregoire, blocSonic.com
