Sloan's forthcoming album, "Parallel Play" will be released on June 10th. Currently we are scheduled for release in Canada (Murderecords), the USA (Yep Roc Records), Australia (HighSpot), Spain (Bittersweet Recordings), and everywhere else in Europe it's distributed through Yep Roc International.
We are launching this album with a northeastern US tour and summer festival shows. There will be a lot more to announce through the summer and fall. Check Sloan’s website to see when we are coming to your town.

Hey guys, can't wait to see you Aug. 16th in Chatham!!!!!!!!! It's gonna be my first time seeing you. You are indeed legendary Canadians!!!!!!!! You ROCK!
Lovin' Parallel Play, gentlemen - especially "Emergency 911" and the affectionate Zimmerman goof on "Down In The Basement." And "I'm Not A Kid Anymore" screams the scary truth for us all - how come time doesn't come with a rewind button? (I made the same Styx mistake when I was 11 - don't feel too bad!)
Hope to see y'all soon in Nashville Kels - Million Sellers -
Missed you in Chicago. :( Heard you talked to my buddy Allan before the show. Second tour in a row I've missed. I mean, I don't blame you for bypassing Arizona, but you do have fans here. Honest.
damn sam. this is the best album. sounds like sloan. this is awesome. thanks man. best album i have. one of those albums that is what it's all about. all of it. dylan-ish by andrew. chris kicking ass. pat getting soul. jay intelligently going into the woods like bolan. eh- i don't know. i DO know that i dig this one best right now. thanks man.
Loved seeing you guys play the Bowery Saturday--but honestly, am I though only one who was effin' annoyed by the MRCH crap? Totally killed the flow of the show (for me). Oh well . . . always fun (bad broadcasts notwithstanding) to see you guys . . .
Awesome show last night in Chicago. Hadn't seen you guys since 2002 at Bayfest, Ha! My only complaint was that it was too short. Please come back sooner this time. Mwah :-* -Amy
Just wanted to let you know that we're playing a show on July 4th at the Kathedral at Queen and Bathurst. The show starts at 8:30, we go on at 9 and tickets are $7.00. We also have our bassist, Mario filling in on drums, and Johnny from Revolution Love filling in on bass. We're playing musical band members.
So, come be our friend, have a drink and enjoy some live music.
yes. parallel play is the best album. the best album since never hear the end of it. i think this is exactly what i wanted even though i didn't know what i wanted. i've always been excited for a sloan new release day and after a week of listening to parallel play i've decided this is the best album yet. the whole damn thing rocks. every song awesome. you guys are back in a big way. the first time i saw you was at the grog shop in cleveland during the twice removed days. you played hot smoke and sassafras by bubble puppy and our house by madness. it was with jale and a bunch of punk rock bands. i'm gonna go see you again at the same place ten years later. it's been so cool to hear you develop and come full circle. parallel play is the most fun i've had listening to a rock album in a long time. you are once again the toppermost of the poppermost (as john would say to paul george and ringo). i'll see you in cleveland. yes.
