So far we have been lucky enough to headline such venues as The Jazz Cafe, Cargo, 93 feet east, and play at Turnmills and King's College, as well a whole host of other places with large thanks to Healer Selecta and Raison D'Etre!

Something Simple were formed from a group of friends doing music GCSE at school in Potters Bar around 2003. Since those gloomy days of rock, roll, and Offspring we have evolved into the era of funk and have been picking up new ideas from everything we hear ever since! We have also picked up more ingredients for the funk cake in the form of Tom on guitar, Callum on vocals and the legendary Fabio on percussion.
We now enjoy playing all styles of music and especially mashing them up into a groovy mix full of the something simple vibe.
Hope you enjoy what you hear on this page and hopefully we will see you at a gig in the future!
With the band now on prime form, all that is left was for the band to achieve is world domination with their mighty mighty pocket - after all, as every funkster worth his afro knows - you can't hold no groove if you ain't got no pocket!
