Coming to Nottingham from Norfolk via London, and honing his musical skills playing drums from the age of 8 kid chameleon is certainly is a busy boy. Working for super club night Spectrum, Managing NSB Radio, promoting his own night Ambush and a soundsystem hire business all before the age of 24. Further a field kid c has graced the decks all over the UK . in 2007 he became resident at up and coming derby based night and label ground level. 2008 saw 'the Kid' gaining residencies at defect & Basslime in Bournemouth and Rawr in Sheffield. His Dj sets are anything goes. mashing up flavours from breakbeat, oldskool and jungle & garage. 2009 saw our young kid move back to London after Uni, and within a few months was DJing at Matter at spectrum, plus gaining new residences around venues and nights in the big city. His first release as a producer came on Hardcore Lives Records in 2009 a track titled Everything starts with Letters, a tribute to the old Skool hardcore. This was followed with remixes for Definition Breaks & Held II Ransom, in his usual unique style. Unlike a lot of producers KidChameleon trys to do something new to every track he makes aswell as adding a slice of humour ( we are worried about the sheep noises aswell!). He has found his new home with On a Break after remixing the forthcoming Enough Weapons stormer Walking on Water. The rest as they say is history -

Hey dude.. mix is on backburner until the weekend.. was waiting for some other tracks to come through before doing it.. that said I can't really use your track that you sent over as its very VERY quiet.. it sounds really out of place alongside all the mastered (and even some unmastered) tracks.. Maybe you can tweak it sounds its louder and more 'full' sounding?
You definately have good ideas in there so would be keen to play your material. (Plus Im starting a label fairly soon so will be on the lookout for new talent!)

Not satisfied with his radio show on nsbradio.co.uk or doing the promotional work for mega club night Spectrum, he also ran his own night, Ambush hosting DJs from all across the UK with the ethos being up and coming and anything goes. highlights from the past 2 years include Aphrodite, josh console, Vinyl Abort, Poj Masta, Mr Psik, the list goes on.....(propermashup.co.uk). he also set up delta9 sound system with fellow resident mister bump this has seen a number of bookings to provide soundsystems for nights such as rubber dub and psycle in Nottingham. Further a field kid c has graced the decks all over the UK . in 2007 he became resident at up and coming derby based night and label ground level. 2008 saw 'the Kid' receive his first international booking for a headline set in Sjokoladefabrikken, Oslo. As well as gaining residencies at defect in Bournemouth and Rawr in Sheffield. His Dj sets are anything goes. mashing up flavours from breakbeat, oldskool and jungle. 2009 brings new and exciting times for young kid. his first release lined up on vitamin k records set for release during summer 2009. Everything starts with letters combines his love of breakbeats and old skool rave sounds, hopefully should be a summer stormer.
