Stage 1210 is a venue created to bring local, regional, and national acoustic acts to Old Town in Lansing, MI. Singer/Songwriter Ben Hassenger, a member of the Lansing-area bands Mystic Shake and Blue Jello, is working with the Old Town Business & Art Development Association to help launch this project as an outgrowth of his popular Music Under the Pines house concert series. “There is so much more good music out there that deserves an audience.” says Hassenger. “Stage 1210 is a way to ‘think outside the house’ and bring a variety of talented artists and a similar performance intimacy to a wider range of people.”
Stage 1210 is located in Old Town at 1210 Turner Street in Lansing. This performance space is provided by the Old Town Business & Art Development Association who also produce JazzFest and BluesFest.
BOOKING INFORMATION: We only host one show a month and try to book at least 6 months in advance, so we unfortunately are unable to handle last-minute requests for bookings. Also, in general we also do not book acts we have not seen in person. For more information, email Ben Hassenger at stage1210@gmail.com. I have sent you message before but was wondering if there was an opportunity to play at your venue sometime. I have been playing with a cellist as of late and are looking to play around MI. I know you don't book artists you haven't seen but I do have a live track on my myspace. What would it take for me to get a gig at your venue? I have played at the White Crow, Festival in GR, Schulers, booked with GRFAS as of recently. I hope we can make it work. Thanks for your time.
