About me:
"Funny and smart." That's what George Carlin had to say about Jeff Caldwell after a show at Caroline's in New York. "This guy is incredible," said Dennis Miller. Craig Ferguson and David Letterman said "very funny." CBS showed that they agreed with George, Craig, David and Dennis by giving Jeff a deal to develop his own sitcom. It didn't get on the air, but it was a nice thought!

Two years into an engineering Ph.D., Jeff decided to stop pretending to read texts and come out to his family and the world as a comedian. While he enjoys a successful and fulfilling comedy career, Jeff is reminded of his scientific past every month when his student loan bill arrives. Learn more at www.standupguy.com!

YOU, Sir, reign as King of Retorts.
Even via computer you make me laugh out loud.

Best wishes for safe travels and packed gigs this month in NYC, Erie PA, Boston, & Nantucket Is. MA.

Wow, good booking, to premiere “Comedy All-Stars” show on New England Sports Network! See ya Friday 25th. Have a blast in Beantowne! I once “ran” (euphemism!) the Boston Marathon. Heartbreak Hill is real. But the crowds were awesome. As they will be for you, All-Star Stand-Up Guy.

And that sun thing? A good rule.

Hi, Jeff!
Here’s an alternate reality: if you need a break from hilarity at Gotham & Comic Strip, come help stain & waterproof my deck. Bring friends. Guaranteed tan unless enveloped in SPF 214. Incentives? Barbeque. Skiing. Banter. Music.

Ah. I thought not.
Carry on, Funny Man.
And let Freedom ring.

Love that doggie in the window!

Hey dude.. I was in the 'ole neighborhood a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't stay long. On the road from time to time. I'll let you know when I'm over your way again. Glad things are going well, and tell the little lady we (and Diz) said hello.

Tremendously funny Sunday night set my friend...all 15 of us there had a blast!! I jest of course. Good to see you again...though I don't think Brett Leake realizes I meet him EVERY TIME you're in DC. It is, what it is...as the kids say.

Love the new stuff...love the tweaks to my favs. Thank you for Kangaroo Boy...his appearance always gets me. Always. What are the odds we can get him on the ticket with Obama?

Thanks again...and now I'm off to cut'n'paste the exact same thing over in Facebook.

VIVA LA CALDWELL!!
Alex

Hey Jeff! Thanks for accepting! No need to say much myself. Girl below said it all : ) Thanks to her to bring my attention to your funny! (Can't believe I missed you on Ferguson.) But anyways, me and my "lumberjack guy" had a great time at the show in DC.
Stay funny!
Cheers, Mel

Congrats on your new D.C. fans, Funny Man!
“Had a blast” reviews for you, Pal! Quotes: “REALLY enjoyed his comedy! Had a GREAT night!”

That 14th century Old English took our innocent Lumberjack aback. But I clarified:
Swain: a male admirer or suitor
Swine [Schwein]: 1) a domesticated pig or hog, descended from the wild boar;
2) a brutish or contemptible person

Our unsuspecting German guests: however do they manage here, what with English their FIFTH LANGUAGE & all?! Hope you enjoyed the crowd & evening.

An OurSpace observation, s'il vous plaît:
Is it my computer or do the same five ‘blogs repeat 22 times here on your profile? That’s quite a system hiccup! Oh, Tommmmmmmmm . . .

Your friendly neighborhood Web Log Marshall,
Ally Oop : )

Surely you jest, Kimosabe.
What foolhardy fellow would dare match wits & wordsmithing & wisecracking with YOU? And when you’re packing a live mic? Ha! Child’s play.

Besides he’s not “that kind” to heckle. Insult? Never! Banter? Maybe. If you start it & REALLY encourage him to. Posture/Bruise? Only if you flirt with his lady. But then, I don’t think YOU’RE “that kind”! . . . so everything will be über-cool, Dude.

If I’m wrong & you ARE “that kind”, I hope you can duck & weave & break a 6-minute mile, several times in immediate succession.

Seriously: they just love to laugh.
You’re hilarious & very engaging.
It’s a healthy co-dependency, made in heaven. Quid pro quo.
That’s why I recall several SOLD-OUT shows for you!
Muah!
Ally ; )

Well, surely once he knows. After all I have so much to offer... there's the thrilling veiws from my second story apartment, my uncanny ability to drop things off at the dry cleaners and call to order take out, and all this charming emotional baggage... now that you mention it who wouldn't want all this? :o)

Hi, Jeff!
Sending a friend from Germany to your D.C. gig at the Improv this week. Give her a hard time for me, please. Ya can’t miss her: sweet, petite, blonde, angel’s face. Sparkling, intelligent wit. Maybe her guy & his work friends – big man, thrill-seeking adventurer. Don’t mess with him.

Wish I was joining them for an über-entertaining evening of Caldwell Comedy. You’re hilarious, Pal.

Have a wonderful time! Send them my way for a visit when you’re done making merry.
And charmingly sardonic.

Ally : )
