Statius was formed in the Autumn of 2007 by five musicially driven metal crazed teenagers From the San Fernando Valley in California, Statius have embarked on a mission to incorporate different genres and styles of metal to craft a distinct melodic/extreme sound . After opening for bands from Edguy to Belphegor and everything in between, Statius has quickly started to draw the attention of a vast variety of metal heads and music fans hungry for a fresh approach to metal. With the release of their first 7 track E.P. "Arcane Fables" (recorded in 1 week's time), Statius is ready and craving to move forward on their musical venture.
