As feedback rings through venues across Canada, Storyteller finishes
up a successful Fall tour and begins to write new material for an
upcoming EP. Unfortunately, due to differences within the core of the
band, some extremedies were left behind as vocalist Jordan Menear guitarist Justin Jennings and bassist Rob Paulin find themselves to retrace their steps and pickup the pieces. "Static fills their veins" as the band reaches a new stage in its vessel and re-unites with former member Chris Woods as their new drummer/vocalist and also recruiting guitarist Mike Alsop to the ranks.
The crushing tones and melodic leads of Storyteller create an
atmosphere similar to that of a lucid nightmare, as the band seek
independence within a genre that is filled with copycats and
sound-a-likes. With inspiration drawn from such acts as At The
Drive-In, Deftones, Circa Survive, and Underoath, the group intends to
stand out with their explosive live performance and laid back
personalities. Watch out for the band's upcoming EP, and keep an eye
on tour dates to be posted within the coming months....
