Stroller Coaster crawled from the abyssal slime in June of 2007. The original lineup was just John and Shaun, playing Methadones and Teenage Bottle Rocket covers to an audience of none. Brian decided he wanted a piece of that action so he bought a guitar and joined in. Tony brought the thunder almost a year and a half later thus making the circle complete, and somewhere, a classroom full of gross underachievers started weeping, though they knew not why....
We play all original music, mostly about science fiction or heartbreak, or sometimes both. We have an instrumental about big mountain skiing, a scorcher about the last days of the dinosaurs, and a soulful ballad about skipping prom to see the Dead Milkmen. We play way too fast.
Footage from our first show ever - The Factory - Rochester, MI - 1/22/2009
The Fall Line is the line a ball will naturally follow if you drop it from the top of a mountain, and the route most sought after by snowboarders and skiiers. Here's Fall Line a little surf instrumental about big mountains covered with snow.
Midnight Rendezvous is our song about vampires. It's supposed to be a male/female duet, but our female vampire left the band pretty early on. Apparently, she didn't like the blood of nerds.
yeah we should definitely try to set up a show together in the future! i'll be in touch with you guys... we got a couple shows coming up that might need an extra band, so i'll get back to you for sure.
Thanks for the add. I really enjoy "Fall Line" and seems very aptly named. Anyway for me to get a mp3 of it so I can put it on the iPhone? It would be a great boarding tune.
