Sub Frequency Funk was setup
in mid 2005 with a simple music policy in mind... soulful, funky breakbeat. Originally inspired by what was to become the four part
Concrete Soul series, a collection of experimental tracks produced by DJ Mutiny, the sound was fresh & needed a fresh outlet & so
Funkatech Records' sister label was born. Shortly afterwards, DJ Mutiny retired from all the boring stuff involved in running a label to
concentrate on production & family life, leaving the reigns to MC Incyte & DJ Cubit who run both labels.
SFF will be taking
taking a break for a while. Coming soon.. our first album from DJ Mutiny & Miss Trouble fusing Hip Hop/Krunk/RnB beats in
a British stylee. Watch this space!
